One night• Three bands•
An eclectic selection of original music•
Sophie Morris
Bleeding a rawness into sound, Sophie Morris connects with the audience, and seeks to make them move, be it through heart, mind, soul, or feet.•
You can find her creating music under her own project Ragged Blossom, or working alongside artists such as Citizen Kay.
This performance, her band will feature Jarrod Hunter on guitar, Evan Marshalsey on bass, and Gus Henderson on drums.
Friends and musical collaborators since uni, these four distil a cacophony of iinfluences into a unique sonic-mood.
Rob Aspinall
Is an Alternative RNB multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, and producer based in Naarm/Melbourne, Australia, providing infectious RnB grooves and Neo-Soul
flavour to his audiences. Taking influence from the likes of Masego, Jordan Rakei, Hiatus Kaiyote and Allen Stone Rob blurs the lines between Jazz, Hip Hop and Soul to create cross-genre intricate soundscapes, with his lyricism described as ’a window into the artists soul, dripping with raw honesty’. Rob has performed alongside artists such as SAFIA and Lucy Sugerman, from local RnB initiatives including RnBabe, Beat Mystique, and La La Land Sofa Sessions, to international venues such as Rhythm Room and Gold Diggers Los Angeles, also making appearances at festivals such as Orange Winter Jazz Festival.
Tom Bell Trio
The mean Dean on tenor, the judgmental Jack on bass and the totalitarian Tom on alto. One sax belting out smooth jazz and the other causing a racket, Jack tries to maintain some level of sophistication.
We hope you enjoy.
